The Institute of Art and Movement (I AM) is a hub for creativity, healing, and transformation. Dedicated to supporting artists—especially those within Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and Queer communities—we offer programs that illuminate art, movement, and social change.

With a focus on creative culture we empower artists to re-imagine and thus recreate the world with harnessed intention. At the Institute of Art and Movement (I AM) we offer transformative residencies, movement classes, and immersive retreats designed to heal, inspire, and ignite action. Rooted in an Afro-futurist vision and the Ubuntu philosophy, we create spaces where art becomes a catalyst for justice, connection, and liberation.
